In their first year of study at "The National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest":
Matei Sebastian Alexandru: Student at the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages
Băluță Cezar: Student at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers
Participated in the National Stage, which took place at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iaşi, and qualified for the Final Stage, which took place in Hamburg, Germany.
The project involved an autonomous car designed to complete a white track with black lines in the shortest time possible. The car is a modified WLtoys 124019 equipped with a Pixy2 camera. An FMUK66 flight controller receives line data from the Pixy2 camera via the I2C protocol and determines the car's next moves.
